BP blackness

It’s now May 13 of 2020 and a huge oil spill is spreading along the Northern Pacific Ocean towards the shore of Baja California. The Ocean where I was born and raised was now becoming filled with darkness with an instant death of this black oily gew. My family and friends all pulled apart and swam in fear to escape the over cast of the oil as it races to take our lives. even I the fastest fish in the sea, the Black marlin as my silver, black and blue shades get covered by this oil as it intoxicates my last breath. As I'm floating to the top of the gew slowly, I think to myself “what monster could have caused this” but I remember a creature from the past with arms and legs who pulled me up onto their vessel. “Yes they did it!” I thought to myself, they are the only Creatures who have made me feel pain. when they pulled me onto their vessel they shoved a black tube down my gills injecting the waters i just came out of and then they cut open my lower belly and inserting a shiny silver cylinder about half an inch wide and 3 inches long with a small antenna. I wondered what I ever did wrong to them but had nothing to say. “It had to be them” and thats my last words I gave that day.

Balance

Nature runs as a chain not a game. I love fishing but seeing fishing from an environmentalist perspective is not a sport. It is trying to catch the greatest animals that nature has to offer to either brag or use as a trophy. Natures resources should only be used for a need not to have fun with. Once we need the resource and start to change only than we will realize what we have done wrong. In order to keep a sustainable world we should only use resources when needed. My background has brought me to this view because in order to fish, hike and bike we need to keep our environment health and full of its resources it needs to keep producing. If we over fish, create too much pollution, or cut down to many trees the environment won't be able to keep up with our needs. environmentalist speak for the environment and keep fighting because the talk on behalf of nature like the “Lorax”. It is fine to use natural resources that is how our world was made, But we must find a middle ground that will both keep the environment and human needs balanced. In order to find a balance we must find major factories and power plants that cause lots of pollution or use up mass amounts of natural resources and find a solution that could benefit both sides. I love! Fishing! And in order to keep fishing we need to take care of nature.

Conquer

I think that globalization is a way of seeing imperialism but usually fighting over land to gain more territory. For their natural resources, spread of religion and new trade routes. But usually there's a dominate winner that receives all those things, but how I see it today is it’s just a trade off of all cultures. for example the U.S exports its culture in many ways like clothing, food and music but so do other cultures for example we Americanize Asian and Mexican foods we buy their goods like cars and electronics for example Nokia phones, Toyota, Nissan and Subaru. So I see it more as a trade off of cultures. Also were not really fighting for land or resource. we usually buy land we need or buy the resources. I think the main thing trying to be enforced is religion people still to this day fight and kill people because they want their religion to be dominant. For example in world war 2 the Nazis killed and attempted a genocide against Jews, and today in Afghanistan the Taliban trying to rule over the Islamic religion. So I don’t think we're imperialising anymore besides religion, but more of a trade off between cultures. And If its not a trade then its conquering another without it seeming like it. The same way the U.S slaughtered and an slaved native Americans and just through it behind us like it never happened. Its conquering without conquering.
