I think that globalization is a way of seeing imperialism but usually fighting over land to gain more territory. For their natural resources, spread of religion and new trade routes. But usually there's a dominate winner that receives all those things, but how I see it today is it’s just a trade off of all cultures. for example the U.S exports its culture in many ways like clothing, food and music but so do other cultures for example we Americanize Asian and Mexican foods we buy their goods like cars and electronics for example Nokia phones, Toyota, Nissan and Subaru. So I see it more as a trade off of cultures. Also were not really fighting for land or resource. we usually buy land we need or buy the resources. I think the main thing trying to be enforced is religion people still to this day fight and kill people because they want their religion to be dominant. For example in world war 2 the Nazis killed and attempted a genocide against Jews, and today in Afghanistan the Taliban trying to rule over the Islamic religion. So I don’t think we're imperialising anymore besides religion, but more of a trade off between cultures. And If its not a trade then its conquering another without it seeming like it. The same way the U.S slaughtered and an slaved native Americans and just through it behind us like it never happened. Its conquering without conquering.
